  • How long are the therapy sessions ?

    Each session is 55 minutes. I do advise weekly sessions to begin with to maintain a structure and build the therapeutic relationship.

  • I am worried that if I start therapy I will become reliant on a therapist and will lose the ability to think for myself ?

    This is a myth .During the process a client is encouraged to tap into their own resources . All human beings have the capacity to grow and reach their true potential leaving therapy with an awareness that serves them in a positive way .The past can leave us with limited beliefs. We challenge those beliefs and see how they might impact us in the present .This creates change and helps to build a more positive new you and good self-esteem.

  • I find that trust is a major issue for me, I am not sure I will be able to tell you what has happened.

    This is quite normal and every client is different ,it takes time in a confidential space to build a good therapeutic relationship .A client always leads the session and maintains control.

  • How will I know my data will be safe?

    All data is protected and is written within a contract which will be signed by you to ensure total privacy and confidentiality at all times.

  • I suffer with anxiety. Will I be able to work after my session?

    Working with coping skills to manage your anxiety would be a priority.I can offer hypnosis to relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety and also explore the source of how it has manifested itself.

  • I feel nervous about starting therapy but I feel it's the right time now. Is that normal?

    It is absolutely normal .Some clients have said that they feel that exposing their issues makes them feel vulnerable and weak .Therapy is empowering and enables a client to build self-confidence and good self-esteem.
